Dental Implants

01 November 2021

Due to high demand and enquiries from our patients, we are now providing in-house Dental Implants exclusively as Private Dental Care.

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots used to support a restoration for a missing tooth or teeth, helping to stop or prevent jaw bone loss.

To determine if implants are right for you, a consultation with our specialist dentist is needed. During this appointment, our dental professional will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums and evaluate bone density and quantity. This may involve requesting X-rays and computer tomography scans (CT scans) to ensure there is sufficient bone structure for placing the implant(s), and to determine exactly where they should be placed

Please speak to reception to book your initial appointment.

Sedation

01 November 2021

We provide IV sedation. You receive the sedative drug through a vein, so it goes to work more quickly. This method allows the dentist to continually adjust the level of sedation. Sedation can be used for everything from invasive procedures to simple cleaning. How it's used depends on the severity of the fear.

Does the thought of having your teeth cleaned make your entire body tense with fear? Would you rather endure the agony of a toothache than step foot in a dental surgery? You're not alone. A lot of people are so phobic about going to the dentist that they prefer not to have any treatment.

There is always a risk in getting anesthesia. It is usually safe, though, when given by specially trained & experienced dentists. However, certain people, such as those who are obese or who have obstructive sleep apnoea, should talk to their doctor before having sedation. That's because they are more likely to develop complications from the anesthesia.

We welcome Dr. Kassam into our team.
